Our hiring process is selective, transparent, and puts respect for every candidate at the heart of every step.
01 - Getting to Know Each Other
An initial call, about 30 minutes, with our recruitment team. The goal: to understand your background and expectations, and introduce you to Novity, our model, and the kinds of projects you could work on.
02 - Assessment
Depending on the role, you may be asked to complete a practical exercise. No theoretical tests: we prefer situations close to the real projects we run.
03 - Technical discussion
An in-depth conversation with an Engineering Lead or an experienced developer. We'll talk architecture, problem-solving, and ways of working. The goal isn't to catch you out — it's a conversation between peers.
04 - Client meeting
Because our engineers work at the heart of product teams, our clients are involved in the process too. One or two conversations to make sure the collaboration works, both technically and on a human level.
05 - Feedback & decision
Whatever the outcome, you'll receive clear, honest feedback. We take the time to explain our decisions, and keep you informed at every stage. Feedback is part of our culture, not an afterthought.
